Registration is now open for the Pre School. If you have a child ages 1 to 5 that you would like to enroll please contact the director Marleni Brant-Pomare at 954-981-9269. Classes fill up so do not hesitate — first come, first served. Summer program still available. Regular classes start August 22.

The United Methodist Men would like to thank all who helped with, and all who participated in, the Memorial Day Picnic. It was a great success.

Uniting Broward Community Showcase will take place Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with food trucks, demonstrations, paint the fire truck, bounce house, slides, DJ and more, at Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Parkway.

Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.

Prayer concerns: 

For family especially those who have lost loved ones in the military which protects our country, Val, Sonia, Joan, Pam, Dexter, Alethea, Dorothy, for those who need to find jobs, Nuria, Laura & Roman, Lorretta & family, Karen fighting cancer, Megan as she prepares for college, June as she travels, thanksgiving that Jonel returned from Palestine and that the Palestinians & Israelis may cooperate for the benefit of all, Jonathan Corbet and all receiving treatment for cancer, Williams & Prather families, Wilson family at the loss of Ricky, Kimberly Robinson, Florrie’s hand, Randy’s job and native Americans, Betty Anne as she travels, for our youth as they begin new jobs/careers, Zavier’s family & friends & teachers, Teneshia as she travels, for Robert at the loss of his mother, Mrs. James from St. Croix undergoing medical treatment here, Pauline who suffered mild stroke, joy in having visits from mother and sister, Richard facing eye surgery, Shirley’s mother as she mourns the death of her brother, for Joanne to be able to find a job, marriage under stress, for Craig getting married, Hilma for healing, for the Ramos family, healing for Gloria’s leg, Willard joyful for tests coming back positive, the family of Joshua Cadet who was shot dead in Miami Gardens, James & Laura for help through medical concerns, Roger, Tavon, Campbell, Angie & family & friends, NBA player’s family as he lost his life at 23 years old, for Kim who lost her father on Mother’s Day.
