Welcome to all visitors.  You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you.  We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you during and after the service. Note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. The church has a wheelchair in the back of the sanctuary for anyone wishing to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing.
The church is aware of the availability of a bed, walker and wheelchair that the owners are willing to give away. If you are interested please talk to Pastor David.
On Wednesday night this week, we start a new Bible study with Adam Hamilton’s book: Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today. Section One: The Nature of Scripture with chapters: What the Bible is not, A Biblical geography and timeline, The Old Testament in 15 minutes, Which books made it into the Old Testament and why, Jesus and the Old Testament, Prophecy-the Old Testament and the early church, The New Testament in 15 minutes, Reading someone else’s letters, Who really wrote Paul’s letters? How, When and why the gospels were written, The perplexing, puzzling, and profound John, Which books made it into the New Testament and why. You are invited to join us for this eye opening experience at 7:00 p.m.

Prayer Concerns: Audrey Garrison, Jonathan as he trains with the Marines, Ina’s brother-in-law fractured hip, Dorothy’s co-workers laid off and her uncertainty, Maya’s friends caught up in tornadoes, Jada Edwards as she finished law school and her friend Mike, Melinda as she deals with mother passing, Jennifer’s friend Sandy, Gary with balance problems, Anne & Collen who have lost their mother, Ruth as she travels to Jamaica, Jeannie’s friend Carla’s back to heal, for Jessica’s father to heal in body and mind after assault, Pam’s brother-in-law Winston as he deals with the loss of his mother, for the new members who have joined our church today and those who invited them and given them such a gracious welcome from the days of last year’s Multicultural Service, Laura reminding us to be happy to be alive, Mark thankful for his grandmother and aunt, for Lorna and family dealing with four deaths in four weeks and all those grieving to know God’s comfort, Pat to heal after surgery, for those we have watched grow from earliest years to now graduate. Praise God  from whom all blessings flow.
