Pastor David Range will be away on vacation until August 27.
While he is gone, pastoral concerns may be taken care of by either Lay Leader Joyce Hemmans at 954-701-8824 or Pastor Rudolph Garnes at 954-450-2515. Our guest Preacher August 24 will be the Rev. Margaret Johnson.
Welcome to all visitors. You are invited to stand during the service and introduce yourself, or to have someone else introduce you. We want to give you one of our welcome packs and therefore encourage you to fill out the card and tear off the badge, write your name on it and wear it so that we can greet you as our guest during and after the service.
Please note that there is a wheelchair entrance from the back parking lot through the double doors. Also the church has a wheelchair located in the back of the sanctuary for anyone who wishes to assist a person coming to a meeting. Rest rooms for the disabled are available in the Preschool wing. LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE USHERS.
Cokesbury UMC is inviting us to “An Afternoon of Piano Music”—a concert presented by Dr. Delbert Bailey at 1801 NW 65th Ave, Margate, 33063 on Sunday, August 24 @ 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. This is a benefit to replace the church organ demolished by Hurricane Wilma and will feature easy listening music for approximately one and three quarters hours with a 15 minute intermission. Donation for ticket $15. Please see Donna or the church office.
Please look for the United Methodist News Review Article on BOLD Justice posted on the bulletin boards near the church office.
Vacation time is here but the church still needs your contribution.
Please don’t forget your regular giving during the traveling days of summer--and Thank You!
Pre-School
We reopen for regular classes Monday, August 18. We want to welcome the following little ones from the church family, Joel Howell, Tajhrick Stewart and Briyahna Dottin, to a wonderful and exciting year at Miramar UMC Preschool. A special thanks to the parents for choosing our program and it is our desire to serve your precious little ones to the best of our abilities. Enrollment continues all year; however the VPK four year old classroom and the Toddlers one year old classroom are both full.
